Day 31: Create a personalized podcast growth toolkit you can return to

Welcome to Day 31

Hey! Arielle here.

You did it! Thirty days, thirty podcast prompts, tasks, actions, tools, and tips.

Yesterday, I shared a framework for deciding what deserves your attention next. Today, I’m not giving you another strategy to consider.

Instead, I went through the click data from the entire challenge to see which resources Challengers found most interesting.

Today's Action

Create a personalized podcast growth toolkit you can return to.

Make a bookmarks folder called “Podcast Improvements.” Then choose at least 3 resources from the list below and save them.

You do not need to read, watch, join, or implement everything. The assignment is simply to make the most useful resources easier to find when you do need them.

The Most Popular Links From the Challenge

Podcast research and discovery

Podcast packaging and positioning

Websites and owned channels

Promotion and outreach

One more favorite

Your Final Challenge

Pick 3 links. Bookmark them. Then schedule one 30-minute block during August to explore or implement one of them.

Want to Keep Going?

The daily emails are ending, but as long as you're subscribed to this newsletter, you'll get tips, tricks, resources, and things to test. I'm toying with the idea of a weekly version of this Challenge. Let me know what you think.

Coming up, we have virtual events on how to pitch yourself as a guest, podcast SEO, funding investigative podcasts, creating a newsletter for your show, and more. Submit a session idea.

Thank you for opening these emails, clicking around, sharing your work, asking questions, attending events, and getting to know one another in Slack.

If you KNOW you enjoy our events and want to attend at least 1 per month, Well It Depends Labs Monthly makes it cheaper. There's an option to pay 1 price for either one or two events per month. Whether an event costs $11 or $111, you pay once.

Does this make financial sense for me? Hey, probably not.

If you have 2 minutes, I’d love to hear what worked, what didn’t, and what you’d like us to do next. Just hit reply.

THANK YOU.
